Kontrak Silverstone untuk MotoGP Diperpanjang Sampai 2021

Silverstone can get a one-year contract extension to hold MotoGP until 2021. Circuits will soon be paved again. Silverstone circuit had a problem in the 2018 season event. The track in the United Kingdom was canceled to hold the MotoGP event because the track asphalt was not able to absorb rain water properly. This situation made Sliverstone considered to have a poor drainage system. The track surface cannot hold heavy rain spills and cause inundation. Carmelo Ezpeleta, boss of MotoGP promoter Dorna, said that re-paving is a prerequisite for Silverstone to keep trust in the race in 2020. Reclaiming is also a requirement to maintain the FIM Grade A license needed to host the MotoGP race. "Up to this point, it has involved a lot of work by staff at Silverstone. But throughout that time, we have been fully focused on ensuring the right decision to ensure our most important future, Formula 1 and MotoGP," said the director of circuit management. Stuart Pringle.
